>> hello, i am charlie hurt along with tomi laren, julie and jason chaffetz. welcome to the big weekend show. the big story tonight -- a new twist in the assault allegations against usc star connor mcgregor. he's accused of attacking a woman at game four of the nba finals just hours after he sent bernie the mascot to the hospital during a bit gone
9:01 pm
wrong. now this new video shows his accuser and mcgregor together at a club a short time after she says the sexual assault took place. fox news correspondent cb cotton has the update. >> tmz says the new video shows mcgregor and the woman who accused him of sexual assault chatting at a club table with drinks at the paseo center in miami about 30 minutes after the alleged assault took place. the woman's attorney telling tmz this video shows an awkward interaction, and in part this again is another video that supports what my client has been saying and supports what she told the police since the inception of this incident. mcgregor's attorney pushing back telling tmz the woman's story keeps changing and this new video proves allegations are false. tmz says it's obtained other videos showing mcgregor and the woman hanging out at the club including one which tmz says mcgregor leading the woman into a bathroom for the alleged
9:02 pm
sexual assault occurred. the new york post says it's obtained notices showing the woman seeking settlements with the nba, miami heat and mcgreg mcgregor. allegations follow mcgregor's promotion of his new pain relief spray during the halftime of game four in the nba finals. during his halftime appearance, the start delivered headlines making countries to the miami heat mascot which reportedly sent the mascot to the hospital. >> back in 2018 mcgregor was accused of raping a woman in ireland. irish police and prosecutors investigate it but declined to pursue metal charges. at the time a spokesperson told the new york times the allegations were categorically rejected. the woman later sued in the daily mail reports civil proceedings are ongoing. miami police and miami heat are both -- both have ongoing
9:03 pm
investigations into the most recent allegations. >> thank you so much. what we have with this new video is some indication at least that connor mcgregor and his accuser were paddling around in the bar afterwards, mcgregor's lawyers insisted is just a shakedown and her lawyers insist this is not a departure but you read into the accusations of the accuser, she says she's violently elbowing him in the stall of the bathroom to get him off of her and then escapes the bathroom. how do you go from that to having a drink in any sort of way with him outside? america seems hard to believe that's why the stories are tricky nowadays because you want to believe all women, that's what we are supposed to do when you have case after case where
9:04 pm
you have high-profile cases of celebrities being shaken down so that's the hard part because we see time and time again pro athletes have their lives destroyed by an accusation because we believe all women, don't wait for the facts to come out so we have video the video, it depends on how you see it. if you are a woman, you want to believe the woman and believe her story and say this sounds terrific, she's being forced into the bathroom and then look at it afterwards and say why would you go out with him? it's hard when you have the situation so sticky and with entered this era of celebrity shakedowns, we should never have been here but this is kind of what the need to movement helped propel and it's sad because now we have to look at everything and wonder. >> honestly no matter how much we want to leave women, evidence always matters. somebody who believes in evidence, attorney francine -- listen to what he had to say.
9:05 pm
>> i want to be clear it is again only allegations. it doesn't look good for her that she's changed her story or we've learned her story is not quite what she first made it out to be because i did watch the videotape and it looked clearly to me like she went into the bathroom with him voluntarily. there are not that many good explanations for why someone would voluntarily go into a men's bip bathroom with mcgregor in the middle of miami heat game. i don't know what she was doing, it sounds like she was minimum, impaired but i think we are going to have to hear from eyewitnesses before we know the real story. >> so afterwards, she accused, the miami heat and security guards for the nba sort of like blocking outside the bathroom door so which again, how only does it suggest according to her
9:06 pm
own claims that it was an actual violent assault in the bathroom but she's claiming there is broader conspiracy involving other, we should note deep-pocketed entities as covering for. >> these cases, he said she said, very difficult. the story does continue to morph but you know, you can still all entirely go into a bathroom even though there might be a presumption of some amorous things happening in there but you still have the ability on either side to stay say no so that's what makes this difficult. is there physical evidence? any other type of evidence? it's hard to make a judgment, we rush to judgment too often but i think it's suspicious now that there is videotape this, though, the story is changing that doesn't bode well. the one who's really got a case
9:07 pm
is the mascot because e-mail that mascot. if somebody wants to lawyer up, is probably the mascot because connor mcgregor used the left hook twice and when he's laying on the ground, he hit him again and sent him to the hospital. any shop will take that but the second shot, that was violent. >> it did seem unnecessary, he was already on the ground. >> they were supposed to be joking around. the second hit -- >> i don't know what you are selling with that but -- i don't know how it works but apparently the guy, he's still out, there mascot is out. he's out of commission there. >> i've got to think about going to a wnba games now. >> another thing that complicates all of this is drinking and according to the lawyer for the accuser, she had, what she said was at least six drinks. she didn't remember who it was
9:08 pm
that guided her into the bathroom but a good memory going up. the other thing was she thought understanding was they were going to the four seasons hotel in the next thing she's being led into the bathroom. or maybe she was confused thinking they were going to go to the hotel. >> either way, i think the intention on both parts was not to go in and wash their hands. i think the reason -- >> it is -- >> is over, for the child with his wife in the back in the him going and hand-in-hand with this woman and they clearly were not going in to sanitize themselves so it makes him a creep but doesn't make him a sexual assault or? i don't know. she said she doubled him, was it before or after she performed oral sex on him forcefully before or after where he tried to attempt sodomy on her? i'm not sure. there's a lot of graphic
9:09 pm
details. i was not in the bathroom but sadly i do not a lot of the details because i read the article. i also have to say, you have to wonder about the timeline. a lot of abused women wait to report an incident so she was maybe in a state of shock and continued drinking and was under the influence so probably it didn't hit her and she did eventually call the police the next day but one has to wonder, are you seeking charges or money? if you're seeking charges and what justice, go to the cops right away. that's the perception when men do have to face. >> at the very least, bathrooms are usually, unless you go to the bathroom for the stated purpose, it's probably not a good place to go. >> or to check your hair. >> beyond that, i think the message here, we have the he said she said, the message here for the american people is, teach your sons and your

daughters not to get themselves in a situation. don't get yourself so blackout drunk you don't know what you are doing, don't follow celebrity into the bathroom and to the men, the sons out there, treat women with respect if they -- don't leave them into a bathroom. get back to the morals and we need to get back to parenting in this country and hopefully we can have less of these incidents with so much gray area and speculating on what's going on. >> exactly. coming up, more biden wonders as the president takes up reelection campaign. >> the queen.
